Salmonella can cause serious illness. The symptoms start arising within 6 hours to 6 days from the time the contaminated food is consumed.The symptoms are diarrhea, fever, and stomach cramps. It may last within 4 to 7 days without using antibiotics. Some of them might need to be hospitalized.
