    it depends on different factors

    • content of food
    • the water activity of food
      • more water is present in food content. more chances of bacteria to grow. less water activity means fewer bacteria to grow
      • for example, dry fruits like peanuts, etc have the lowest water activity that’s why bacteria cannot grow there
