by using adhesion factor and fimbriae, salmonella enters into the body through different routes then safe itself fro, the phagocytosis and the complement system and after that attach to the mucosal surface of the intestine and then start growing and make the surface rough and cause disease.
100-1000CFU requires to cause the infection in the targeted host.
