salmonella replicate (asexually) via binary fission and follow up the lytic cell cycle.

    binary fission:

division of a single cell done and forms 2 cells that are genetically identical.

doubling time of the salmonella is about 20 minute-40 minute.

    1. here, single DNA molecule replicates and generate 2 copies these copies attach at a different point, to the cell membrane.
    2. so, increase the distance between the DNA molecules when the cell grows and elongate.
    3. cell membrane pinches inward at the centre.
    4. cell well forms which separate the 2 DNA molecules and divide the original cell into 2 identical cell called daughter cells.

    note:

salmonella don’t replicate at below or equal to 10C. optimum temperature requires is 35-37celcius.

    hope you got the point.

    thanks
