Salmonella lives intracellularly inside the host’s body. To protect it from host’s defence (immune system),it safely stays inside the cell . So, it has the capacity to use anything it gets hold of for it’s food. When it enters into the cell it can survive with even a very little amount of food. So it can use a very vast range of nutrients like (lipids, vitamins, and amino acids) of the host cell to grow happily.
