Viruses are smaller than bacteria. While both viruses and bacteria are microscopic organisms, viruses are typically much smaller in size compared to bacteria. Viruses are so small that they cannot be seen under an ordinary microscope and require specialized tools such as an electron microscope to be observed. Bacteria, on the other hand, are larger and can be visualized using a light microscope.
