    following are the factors requires of the Maintainance of the salmonella :

    water activity=0.94

    temperature 35-37 Celcius

    pH 5.5 or below

    salmonella survive longer in humid condition as well

    due to all these above factor salmonella survive on the surface. salmonella can survive on a dry surface for 4days- month.

    generally speaking, salmonella survive on dry surface for 7-14 weeks and on wet surface salmonella survive for 1-2 months
