scientist can grow bacteria in a petri dish. firstly, bacterial culture medium is poured in sterile petri dish then sample (from which scientist wants bacteria to be isolated) is inoculated on media. after that plate is incubated for the bacteria to grow and plates are observed at different intervals of time.
