Salmonella causes diarrhoea, abdominal pain and fever with the spoilage of any food item. Salmonella has developed such mechanisms in it which result in it’s protection from body’s immune system. According to the scientists at Liverpool, Salmonella has a secretion system that helps it to stay safely inside amoeba. It helps salmonella to have a protected stay inside the cell phagosome. Amoeba is playing as an important source for the safe spread of salmonella . Amoeba helps it to become resistance against different disinfectants and water treatment. So it’s our responsibility to find various ways to treat water to to remove amoeba from it.
