firstly, I would like to clear 1 point is that salmonella is a bacteria.
salmonella is not a virus.
secondly, the survival rate of the salmonella depends on its species as well.
general speaking, salmonella can survive for 4 hrs on a dry surface. it can last for 1 week approximately.
