    well, firstly it depends upon the intensity and the infectious dose of the salmonella and secondly depend on the targeted person that either that individual is immunocompromised or healthier one. In some individuals don’t show any symptoms even for weeks. The infectious dose requires 100-1000CFU. it causes dehydration, nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, chills, fever and headache. it also causes death but it’s rare.
