water testing strips are available that analyze water in seconds such as swimming pool water testing (pool testing strips). the test shows the hardness of water, pH of water and presence of chlorine in water. for drinking water check the color of water, check the pH with pH strips,, to check if its a ‘HARD WATER’ wash your hand with soap if it gives slimy texture than its a hard water, check if any odor comes from water.
