salmonella is a source of diarrhea. symptoms start with in 6 hours or can be shown up to 6th day of consumption. fever, nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps are also symptoms of salmonella infection. diarrhea can be bloody. some patients can be treated with in 7 days but severe diarrhea takes longer time to recover and person needs to be hospitalized.
