Why is it beneficial for E. coli to have several different types of oxidase enzymes?

E.coli have this oxidase enzyme which is present in electron transport chain in the mitochondria (recieve electron and generate water molecule). if bacteria have this enzyme, it will convert the tetramethyl-p-phenylene into Indophenol. this enzymes helps E.coli cells to grow in the presence of oxygen and respires.. hope u got the point.
