one of the major reservoir of zoonotic infections are dogs. they transmit many viral and bacterial diseases to humans through aerosols, saliva, contaminated urine or feces and through direct contact. many viral diseases like rabies and bacterial infections like salmonella, Brucella are transmitted from dogs to humans.
