bacterial vaginosis is not sexually transmitted disease hence it cannot be spread from person to person. so it is safe to have sex during the infection for the partner. but the risk of infection increases, also it felt to be uncomfortable and infection’s symptoms increases. women can clear up their symptoms more quickly by avoiding sex.
