temperature above 60 degrees C or 160 degrees F is effective against many bacteria. but there are some bacteria known as thermophiles or hyperthermophiles that can tolerate temperature up to 120 degrees C. moreover some bacteria can also form spores (endospores) that are resistive to high temperature and can come to vegetative form when temperature becomes favorable.
