    salmonella is the gram-negative bacteria belonging to the family of the Enterobacteriaceae that cause the infection of the GIT tract. salmonella is the facultative anaerobe can survive in the presence(by making ATP) or in the absence of oxygen (by using electron acceptor or fermentation).

    salmonella use their virulence factors that is adhesion factor and fimbriae. by using this, salmonella attaches the mucosal surface o the intestine and safe itself from the phagocytosis and the complement system and then cause diseases by growing.
