e.coli is spread through fecal oral route. it is transmitted by eating under cooked meat, raw meat, contaminated vegetables and fruits, consuming raw milk and unpasteurized beverages and drinking contaminated water. it can also be transmitted by neglecting washing of hands after using bathroom and before or after cooking food.
