    conjunctivitis is the inflammation of thin layer of tissue covering the front of the eye. mostly bacterial conjunctivitis is self limiting but if it is not antibiotic eye drops are given for treating bacterial conjunctivitis such as Chloramphenicol. it is recommended not to share make up or eye lenses that are the major source of contamination that can result in conjunctivitis.
