bacterial minor skin infections are treated by directly applying antibiotics (creams or ointments) on infection. clean the infection debris (pus) and apply antibiotic on infection directly. if large area is infected than antibiotics are given by oral route or intravenous injections are given. if infection is severe then dead tissue should be surgically removed and abscess should be cut open.
