Lactic Acid Bacteria and yeast
Question
Hi. I want to ask about lactic acid bacteria and yeast. Actually, my final year project is about lactic acid bacteria in honey. I used MRS, MRS + CaCO3 and M17. When I isolate and did catalase test, most of them are positive catalase test. LAB should be negative catalase. so, another bacteria can also grow on MRS? And there is no growth of yeast on DRBC agar. So, I want to know how to isolate LAB and yeast correctly?
