How experimentally would you determine the location of a promoter to a gene?

    Well, in order to find the promoter sequence you firstly have to know the transcriptional start site of the gene. if u know the transcriptional start site u will easily find the location of the promoter.

    go to NCBI then select your organism.. find your gene from there then done the BLAST of your sequence in order to find the promoter region.. it’s the most easier way to find the location of your promoter region..
