bacterial vaginosis is a bacterial infection that occurs due to the imbalance of microflora of vagina. this infection is responsible for whitish- grey discharge from vagina with very unpleasant odors (fishy smell, tangy smell, chemical like smell, smoked herbal like smell, rotten organism like smell).
