The gut of many animals like chicken is of a harmful bacteria like salmonella which may lead to the infection of the intestinal tract . The presence of salmonella in the gut of chicken may lead to different problems like:
food poisoning
typhoid fever
enteric fever
gastroenteritis
other illnesses
Chicken is a great source of proteins . Chicken meat has high proportion of protein in it.
That’s what it must be ensured that the chicken is cooked at a favourable temperature to kill such microorganisms. Cook chicken until the temperature is raised upto 165°F (74°C) so that all the microorganisms can be completely killed .
