Neisseria gonorrhoeae cause gonorrhea which is a bacterial sexually transmitted disease. it effects the mucous membrane of reproductive tract. in women it effects cervix, uterus, fallopian tubes and urethra. in men it effects urethra. it can also effect mucous membrane of rectum, eyes, throat and mouth.
