    Salmonella enter by the oral route through contaminated food, this reach the stomach and pass through the small and large intestines . Then they cause intestinal invasion and start multiplying there . Second, the invasion of gastrointestinal lymphoid tract lead it to the bloodstream . There they produce enterotoxin which results in an inflammatory reaction leading diarrhea.
