Question about Listeria survival?


Does listeria monocytogenes colonise and survive on a plate that had plain pasta on it and has been sitting out for about a week?

  2. Yes, Listeria can be in pasta. This is because the cheese used in the pasta may contain listeria as sometimes people don’t take care of milk’s pasteurization for cheese production.

    So if it is present in cheese, there are chances of growth because it can survive even at 0 degree centigrade.
