Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli cause traveller’s diarrhea. Some other bacteria are also involved in causing TD i.e. salmonella species, shigella species and campylobacter species. This happens while consuming contaminated food and water. Its symptoms appear within 24 hours and causes loose stools, nausea, vomiting, fever and abdominal cramps.
