    salmonella is the gram-negative bacteria belonging to the family of Enterobacteriaceae that causes the infection of the GIT tract. by using 2 virulence factors i.e. adhesion factor and fimbriae, salmonella enters the body through different routes and saves itself from the phagocytosis and the complement system and the attached with the mucosal surface of the intestine and cause disease.

    salmonella causes different sign and symptoms:

    nausea

    chills

    vomiting

    dehydration

    abdominal cramps

    headache

    Treatment:

    fluid therapy (rehydration )

    intake more liquid-like juices

    take an antibiotic in serious condition etc
