e.coli is a mesophilic bacterium that grows at moderate temperature (not too high or not too low). their can grow well between 21 degrees C to 49 degrees C temperature range. the optimum temperature for the growth of e.coli is 37 degrees C. it can also survive freezing or refrigeration temperature but can’t grow in this temperature.
